Fall
Focus Career Fair

The Fall Focus Career Fair is a collaborative effort between
the College
of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the College
of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, the College
of Natural Resources, and the College
of Science.
Wireless
access is available to recruiters the day of the fair. Information will be included in your confirmation packet.

Registration
Fee:
$375 for an 8 ft booth and up to 4 representatives
$400 for a 10 ft booth and up to 4 representatives
$50 for each additional representative per booth

Interview
Day
A limited number of rooms will be available for organizations to use for interviewing on Friday, October 2. Please email Debbie Wilson (dewilso2@vt.edu) if you wish to reserve a room on Friday.

Hokies4Hire
Resume Access
The
employers attending the Fall Focus Career Fair will have access
to student resumes via the on-line resume database in the Hokies4Hire System. This service is free for all Virginia Tech students.
We are encouraging students attending the Fall Focus Career Fair
to login to the Hokies4Hire System and post their resumes, and also to bring hard copies
of resumes to the fair.
Employers without a Hokies4Hire System account will need to sign up for one to access the fair registration and students'
resumes online.
Publicity
The Fall Focus Career Fair will be advertised on campus through
a variety of media. If you would like to advertise your organization's
attendance at this special event, please call the student newspaper,
The Collegiate
Times, at (540) 231-9860 to place an ad.
Attending
companies will be listed in a Career Fair Guide.
This guide is made available to students and contains information
about each attending organization.

TO the job fair
Hollins

job fair. Once registered, you will receive an electronic information

If you are using Hollins Exposition
Services to handle your shipping, follow their
instructions.
If you are using UPS, Federal
Express, or any other shipping company, do the following:
- Call your courier service three to six (3-6) hours before your
departure time to schedule your shipping pick-up.

- Inform the scheduler that your shipment MUST be picked up no later than 5:00 p.m from:

Parking
Passes will be provided at the reception on Wednesday evening, when organization representatives check in the morning of the fair, or at the parking lot by shuttle drivers. You must
park in the designated area and take the shuttle to and from Squires,
or you will be ticketed. None of the sponsoring Colleges will
be responsible for parking tickets received by those parking in
areas other than the designated parking area.

Directions to Chicken Hill Parking Lot
Directions from US-460:
Going West on US-460 (towards West Virginia) you will need to turn right on Southgate Drive. When you get to the second stoplight turn right onto Techcenter Drive, and the parking lot will be the first on the left.
Directions from Prices Fork:
Going East on Prices Fork Road (towards campus) you will make a right onto West Campus Drive. Stay on West Campus Drive through the traffic circle where you will basically be making a left onto Washington Street. From Washington Street you will make a right onto Spring Road. Follow Spring Road through the stop light where the road turns into Techcenter Drive and the parking lot will be the first on your left.
Directions from Main Street:
Going North on Main Street (towards campus) you will need to make a left on Airport Road. At the three-way stop sign you will make a right onto Southgate Drive. At the first stoplight you will make a left onto Techcenter Drive. The parking lot will be the first on the left.
Directions from Squires Student Center:
Going towards Main Street on Alumni Mall you will need to make a right onto Main Street. At the first stoplight you will make a right onto College Avenue. Follow College Avenue and it will turn into Otey Street at the sharp turn. At the end of Otey Street you will make a right onto Washington Street. Go straight through the Kent Street intersection and make a left on Spring Road (this will be after Cassell Coliseum and the only road on the left). Follow Spring Road through the stop light where the road turns into Techcenter Drive and the parking lot will be the first on your left.
Directions to Squires Student Center
Directions from US-460:
Going West on US-460 (towards West Virginia) you will need to turn right on Southgate Drive. When you get to the second stoplight you will need to turn right onto Spring Road. When you get to the end of Spring Road you need to turn right onto Washington Street. At the first stop sign make a left onto Kent Street. Follow Kent Street down the hill, past the bookstore and onto the Drillfield. (You will only be on the Drillfield for a few seconds) After merging onto the Drillfield you will make the first right onto Alumni Mall. After going under Torgersen Bridge Squires Student Center will be the brick building on the right. Look for the unloading signs.
Directions from Prices Fork:
Going East on Prices Fork Road (towards campus) you will make a right onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street through the Turner Street stoplight and make the next right onto Alumni Mall. Go three quarters of the Mall and before you get to Torgersen Bridge make a u-turn and Squires Student Center will be the brick building on the right. Look for the unloading signs.
Directions from Main Street:
Going North on Main Street (towards campus) you will need to make a left onto Alumni Mall. (this will be after going through downtown and will be across from Mike’s Grill) Go three quarters of the Mall and before you get to Torgersen Bridge make a u-turn and Squires Student Center will be the brick building on the right. Look for the unloading signs.
Directions to Lane Stadium (for reception on September 9)
After 5 o’clock you are allowed to park in any spot without a parking pass so you can park in any spot you find.
Directions from US-460:
Going West on US-460 (towards West Virginia) you will need to turn right on Southgate Drive. When you get to the second stoplight turn left onto Spring Road, and the parking lot will be on the right.
